So I clicked on the SEP manager and Symantec Protection Center and ran it. Cleanwipe gave me 3 options to choose from but the option I think I wanted also listed Antivirus, Network Access control, and Client Securitywhich I didn't want to erase. I called Symantec and eventually was told to download, unzip and run Cleanwipe. I could not find it as a program that could be uninstalled from the Windows uninstall facility.

I clicked on uninstall and shortly received a message that Update could not uninstall so they must be uninstalled manually with the same 4 lines listing SEP. I clicked to install the update but when I looked back for status I saw the message : the following programs must be uninstalled to be able to proceed with the update (wording not exact) and it listed 4 identical line of "Symantec Endpoint Protection". A notice popped up that I needed to Install the latest Update to Windows 10 (I had upgraded from Win 7 several months ago).

Hi, I got into End Point Protection by way of Windows 10 Update.
